Bladesmith | Welder | Artist
I do my best to provide the best quality knife with precision custom work.
I forge my own Damascus, turning knives into one of a kind works of art.
Built to heirloom quality but ready for hard, everyday work.
A few of my favorites from over the years
My name is Chad Kennedy and I am a Bladesmith located in Holliday, Texas. I am passionate about three things: Jesus, My Family and Making Knives. When I'm not welding for my job you can find me in my shop hand forging the knives you see on this page, playing with my kids or making homemade biscuits for my friends. I've been a knife guy my whole life. My first memory of a knife was from when I was about five years old at a church Christmas service in Dundee, Texas. I got a Swiss Army knife and was cutting up boxes at my seat, while at the same time making my mark on those blue cloth pews.
I got the itch to make knives in 2010 after meeting my late great friend Jerry Starr. It would be a few years until I had a place to forge myself, but the desire never left me. I started making knives in 2015 in a small shop I made with a few tools. In June of 2021, I earned my Journeyman stamp from the American Bladesmith Society.
Give me a call or send me an email and I would be happy to discuss any custom knife you would like for me to make.
